Listening to a old R&B band called RAMP. Check out the songs Daylight (from GTAIV) and also Everybody Loves The Sunshine - great grooves.

Definitely more tasty than Jamiroquai IMO.

"Synchronicity" - The Police

Reminds me yet again how much contemporary pop music is a celebration of amateurism.

I guess this is my personal thread.

"Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)" - Looking Glass

Back when songs involved story telling.

I actually kind of like the new Coldplay single Viva la Vida. Does that make me gay because in the 40 Year Old Virgin they said you're gay if you like Coldplay

They were right.

Coldplay is interesting. With some of their older material if you were in the right mood, it was pretty cool (Yellow, Spies, etc.), but pretty dull otherwise. The new stuff, at least what I've heard so far is a little bit of a yawn/snore. Maybe if I did smack it'd sound better.

Yes, Nickelback. Anything in particular, or just general rocking out?

I guess you can say I just discovered them in the last few months. Been listening to some of their stuff. Some of it is REALLY good.

Also Snow Patrol too.

I actually dig this Coldplay album, much more so than the last ones at least. My probably with their last few (and Radiohead does this at times too) is that there didn't seem to be a drive or much of a percussion presence and that can bother me at times. Their last albums seemed to kinda dabble and not do much.

New Coldplay is the best work they've done IMO. I really like Violet Hill.
