I don't mind them as long as they don't blow up on the track. A lot of them sound like they are going to blow up their engines in the pits though when they bounce off the rev limiters. Besides it's so much fun when they rev at me in the Chevelle on the way to the track. My favorite one was actually a guy in a fox body. We pulled up to a stop sign and he was just a little bit ahead of me when he stopped. He waited for me then reved at me and dropped the clutch. I just laughed at him and drove easy. I saw him make a pass later that day and he ran somewhere in the mid to high 14 range.

He's talking about quarter mile not the road course. I think the civic was a 9.8 or something like that but it was a trailered drag car.
