Great job on the cage, Ron! Looks awesome!

I'm loving this idea guys! Can't wait to see it next year when I get home!
All I see here in Germany is BMW's on steelies... and the occasional Ford Ka.

Thanks. You know if you were here I'd make you help with it. Keep checking back on the progress when you can. I'm going to try and work on it again tonight after we put the girls to bed.

Be careful while on deployment and I'll talk to you later.

You must be in the South. I saw this ZO6 in Hamburg not long ago:

PS I talked to the guy here at work. I should get the K member and trans mount and even a drive shaft (for TKO -> TII, but ah well), this week.

Cool. I'll need the oil pan as well. Do you know if Joe picked up the Fox body oil pickup with the pan or just the pan? I'm not sure if what's on there now will work with the dual sump pan. On my Cobra's engine the pump is in the front and the pickup extends the length of the engine to the back sump like this one.

I believe Joe only got a pan, and I don't know if it's a rear sump or double sump. What's on now is a front sump, which I can't imagine working.

Thanks Sean. It's only my second time making a roll bar. When I did the Chevelle I fit all the bars but my buddy who's a welder by trade welded it. My first full fab and welding project was the Explorer and I think it turned out good. This roll bar is a lot easier then that was it's just time consuming. I have about 15 hours into it so far.

Ron, that rollbar is looking fantastic!!! The pan I picked up is a double sump, but I didn't get a pickup. The current pickup on the engine will not work with this pan.

HP numbers are good and all, but they are like asking someone how much they can bench. What difference does it make if I can still kick your ass?
