When I did have a diesel i would blip the throttle a few times in a row to load it up on fuel before the turbo would spool, then stomp on it and leave a fucking massive raincloud of soot.

Thats why I only flash my high beams when even I have enough room to go past someone on the right. Most people dont move over so I give them a few sec to move over then i just go around them

Ps, your want of 800rwhp comment today proved to me that all the talk about well balanced cars is crap.
You put in the best parts you can afford, and you make as much streetable hp as you can with what you've got. No one builds a choked out engine for fear that it'll over power the tires.
Ps ps, Im tuning tomorrow with the LM2 Unguided missile up up and away!

Actually I do remember having a conversation with Carlos on going NA vs. SC for his race and discussing the problems of lower average lap times if you OVERpower a chassis vs. having an optimum power to chassis configuration. We can go reducto ad absurdum here to prove the point if you like.

It's true. I rape Zr1's all day. The supercharger adds to much weight over the front wheels resulting in push. To get them to turn in guys will either run a sticker tire (r80 vs r6) or run a stiffer setting on the rear. The factory rear sway bar is actually thicker then the Z06 they are actually removing some grip from the back.
So if you take apples to apples z06 w/z07 performance package and raced a zr1 (this means same shocks, aero, brakes, tires) the z06 will be 1-3 seconds faster than the zr1.

You missed the "hahahaha" at the end of that text. There's no way that those SVO heads will make 800rwhp even with a t-trim. My comment was that I wish i still had the dart motor so i dont go popping it while beating the shit out of it. That car is 100% CA legal and that's why it has those parts, plain and simple.
Still dont know where you got the fear of overpowering the tires. Overpowering the chassis to the point of fearing you'll break something vital was my original point. I can spout numbers and this and that but "we cant really prove it because I'll break x" is stupid, still ricer. And to prove my point even further, im leaving nearly 150rwhp on the table cause i dont want to be shoveling pieces of my block off the track.

I totally agree. That's why the race car has an n/a engine and the street car can have a blower. Especially with a centri, you're putting nearly 100 extra pounds at the furthest point possible in the engine bay.
