Ron, I have an aquainence at work he had a V8-RX7. He still has the Granny Speed Cross Member and trans mount for a SBC with TKO. (I didn't know this until after we started our project.) I can get these to look at if not use. Would these be of use to you or do you already have a clear idea in mind?

Get them from him if he'll give them to you. I'm not sure what we need to do yet to install the engine and trans but I'll look at that when the cage is done. When I looked at the kit that Grannys Speed was selling for the 2nd gen with a SBF it was just an engine cross memeber and a trans cross member. I just took a look at the one for the SBC and it looks the same so I have a feeling it's just to clear the oil pan.

He said he'd give them to us if he could make one pass. He's driven several 11 second cars, including his own V8 RX-7 and a fairly aggressive STi. Seems reasonable to me.

I didn't take the time to take any pictures today as I was working so I ran out and took a few tonight of the completed work so that I could post up some.

Here they are.

Great job Ron.

I still smile every time I see those Pep Boy pedal covers.

I'll be taking those off. You know, weight savings.

I think we should get these to replace them.

Neon pedals.

And use this LED shift knob.

Gay or not you'll need to replace them with something, unless you like slipping off the clutch and grinding your toploader.

I bought some solid aluminum ones, threw away the mounting brackets and drilled them right into the factory pedals.
