I'm putting in a Dart based 363, with the Holley 174 blower. I'll probably back it up with a Lentech AOD.

Quote:
Our 306/331/347 Race 8 Second Dart Short Block is designed for 800hp-1000hp vehicles looking for a strong foundation for high horsepower. This short block is balanced to 28oz and ready for your big horsepower street or race car. The extra strength of this setup relies upon a 4340 forged steel crankshaft and set of 4340 forged steel H beam rods along with the Dart SHP 4 bolt main 302 block. This is the premium 4 bolt iron block available for 302 based motors and can handle upwards of 1200hp. For lighter rotating assembly parts we also have high strength 4340 I beam rods, and Ultra light 4340 I beam rods for quick and high revving naturally aspirated engines.

HP numbers are good and all, but they are like asking someone how much they can bench. What difference does it make if I can still kick your ass?

That's pretty! Want to trade? What are the other specs on the engine, i.e. compression ratio, cam, heads, etc.?

I haven't picked out a cam yet. The heads are dart Pro1 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves and 195cc runners. Compression ratio will be ~9:1.

Yeah, that's why I got rid of those mufflers. I switched them out the first week I had the car. Too quiet for me.
