I'm just crazy and want to own lots of tools. I'm fine with traveling to the oc if that where we keep it because most of us are from out their.

It looks like we have about 14 months before the race (if its held in December like it has been)
If we can't find a fox I might be willing to split with my impulse, ( I really wanted to make it my ls1 drift car) It a 2.0 turbo made some good power (140 stock) and had some great handling. A lot of people put the 2.6 block in there and make close to 230 - 250
Just an idea

I'm not in the OC  I buy tools that i dont have a current need for but know i'll need eventually, i sat on my transmission jack for 5 years before i used it

What would it be worth in it's current condition? You could "sell" it to us for $50, but if the KBB is $1000, then I don't think that it'll work. IIRC we can lower the cost of the car if we sell parts of the car that we don't use. (trim pieces, seats, ect.) That could potentially bring a $700 car down to our playing field. I don't remember if I read it, or if someone who did it before told me that, but I think that it was for Lemons.
