Uhm, ford used to own cummins stock when that truck was made. Now all their trucks are running in house engines, and talking to my buddies who are mast techs much better then the old international engines. Sucks because most of them are losing jobs because of lack of work on them.

I can't find any info on a Cummins ever coming in a ford stock. I see that they owned some stock back in the late 90's (sold them off in 97)

I'll take a GM/isuzu duramax anyday of the week.

Yes, many F550's and up had an option with I6 cummins engines

Sooo, what youre saying is... some FORD trucks are literally Fucked Over Rebuilt Dodges? haha... thats crazy. That must be a good damn engine... to upgrade your twin turbo v8 with an inline 6.

I wonder how long my diesel will last, Im hoping for 350k.

For the record that is an older f650 long before the TTV8's offered now. I dont believe the cummins is an option anymore being the 6.4 and 6.7 engines are far superior. Not only do they out HP them, but also out torque them.
