Bellhousing isnt the same, not even close. Fuel system is probably enough.

I just need to post this again, i'm not available for the project anymore. I'll do anything to help like I normally would for anyone, but any parts I was previously going to donate have either already been given or are now needed to get my affairs in order. My funds have dropped significantly as well as my time, and if i'm going to be working on anything it needs to be my abundance of projects that have been sitting idly for a few months now.

Roger. Mostly just need some information online now. For example, what is the correct bellhousing from that 5 speed to that old V8?

Take a look at the OP for a picture of where we're at. The two "bottom lines" to focus on are accrual of current balance (that's after all pending income and expenses are made - what's left over), and what there is left to get. I roughly estimate that all remaining items will be about $1k (tires alone is $600). We have about $250. We *might* be able to get $200 or so out of the car bits for sale. So we're looking at raising a remaining $500 or so to fully complete the mechanics of the car. Theme is whatever from there. Not bad over all, the only real down side is that $500 for the base car is pretty hopeless, probably more like $700.

I picked up a FRPP King Cobra clutch today for $40. It's in almost new condition because it was only used in two races before the engine let go. It should work great for what we have.
We will need a different fuel pump because the pump will have too much pressure. We only need 6-8psi. We should be able to pick up an SFI scatter shield without it counting against the $500 under safety items. I'm not sure how much they are though. We could also pick up a stock bellhousing. I can give GTR a call tomorrow and see if they have one laying around that we can have or have cheap.
