thanks for the heads up. I hear seven coats is the magic number for heavy abuse applications.

7 thin coats should come out nice the first one should be about 50% transparent then like 85% for the second one. By the third coat it should be 100% covered. 3-4 coats after that should be nice and strong.

Ive used it a few times. 4-5 coats is good, trust me its durable. I used it to cover some faded paint on my wives suv's fenders. Its been at least 6mo and it hasn't faded or peeled. Its great for painting the underside of a vehicle too. Perfect for splitters and crap that gets beat up often.

Nice, I,m excited. I am now on vacation until the 11th. I have a lot of work to do. If this turns out well then I will do the trailer to match the truck. I'm going to try to do the whole TTU season this year.

Why not spray scratch resistant clear? I hear its impossible to color sand, so once you spray it you live with how it looks, but its hard as rock.

Thats what I mentioned earlier in the thread as well. Did the engine bay of the race car with it. Good shit.

I almost did it on my Vette but back then I was super sketch about my spraying technique. Wish I had though, it would be rock chip and scratch free
