I have read a ton of threads claiming same day same time same power similar car whipple runs cooler. I just figured there would be a comparison.

Found some thread on it and seems most suggest the Whipple. On one thread I found one user posted he had both, one car with a KB and another with a Whipple. Here's what he said "I have a Whipple 2.9 in my 08 GT-500 and a Kenne-bell in my 07 SGT.Feeling the need for more power in the SGT, everyone told me that Kenne was the best, so Kenne it was,Then I bought my GT-500. I went with whipple because, i got a super deal for a stage 2 package...Ive had a couple problems w/ the Kenne and their cust. support sucks and its hard to get a hold of anyone..on the other hand, no problems with the Whipple, run like a champ..Installation is a hell of alot easier too. It took me almost a day and half to drop in the K/Bell, I Spent no longer than 4 hours plus another 2 for the afco heat exchanger upgrade, for the Whipple...
It seems the the Whipple is a little quieter too. which it is a plus for me...
Here in Hawaii, Whipple seems to be more popular among the Mustang and Camaro crowd...

FWIW, KB seems to have an almost universally shitty reputation for customer service. PS you could also ping Sean about this, at one point he did a ton for research (kind of his thing) AIR.

Thanks guys. I have found a few threads stating the same thing. It's looking like a 2.9 liter whipple. Lethal performance has a 600 rwhp kit that come with an upgrade TB and CAI.

Here is a shift. I called Creations n' Chrome and also spoke with Top flight Corvette about dropping a blower on the stand. Both shop stated that they have done installations with both whipples and KB's. Both shops recommended going with the centrifugal blowers. Creations n Chrome actually did a comparison with a vortech versus a E-force.they stated that KB and whipples are better than the eforce, but they don't overcome the advantage unless you go bigger.

Vortech kit is only $5k. The difference in cost will be enough to upgrade the clutch and drive shaft. I actually am installing the rear suspension on the car today. Picked up whiteline upper control arm with BMR adjustable lower control arms and the BMR lower control arm relocation kit.

Well the decision is finalized. Creations n' Chrome will be installing a Vortech mid February. They cut me a deal for $5999 installed with before and after dyne tunes.

Congrats. So when's the installation happening? It would be cool if you could run the car at Fontana before and after the install to see what a difference the blower makes.

install wil happen mid February. It ran a 8.9 at 86 MPH at qualcom. That was 100% stock. I will have a before and after tune. The only other power mod will be the O/R X pipe that I need to install. I will probably do the clutch at the same time.

Things finally settled down and I was able to order the blower. As usually selecting a supercharger is a decision best made with alcohol. Ended up going with a Procharger. It will be a bit until I have enough for the required auxiliary upgrades.
