Audi R8 V10.
It's not the fastest on the planet, but it has daily street ability, great looks, and plenty of power. It's a modest choice, in comparison to those in this thread, but given the criteria (can never sell it, etc), it's my top pick.

Excellent choice, I think you could drive one of those everyday quite comfortably. I'm pretty sure you couldn't say the same thing about cars like this:
