Yes. It may not make power, but it will spin past 4k. Let's get he car done. Everybody else will be dealing with the same limitations. When the car is together and we get some use out of it then we can build up the motor/ drive train. For now lets just get something together that we can enjoy. If we try to build everything up we will never finish. This is not turning into project RX-Snake or my c6.

Solid bushing or not the upper and lower control arms will flex and bind making the inconsistent and shitty. None of my control arms had solid bushings, all poly. We will need more than -1.5, so i'm in for the cc plates.

The motor will spin past 4k. It may not pull it in fifth, but it will do it in 1-3rd.

Notching the bolt holes on the struts will give use the additional camber we need. Its how I did it on my car to clear the coil springs.

When you said box the control arms I was thinking the mounts, not the arms themselves.

Ebay has the cc plates for $138 and all four control arms for $130. It would be just as easy to weld a 1/4" plate to the bottom of the stock pieces. Notching the tower has been done, but I have seen that fail before too.

We're not notching the tower, we're notching the holes on the struts where they bolt to the spindles. This came from MM themselves, once tightened down they wont move. Been this way for nearly 4 years on my car.

We need at least -2.5. I'm running -2.1 and -2.2 and my car still pushes. We're also not going to want to run poly bushing in the upper control arms especially if we add a panhard bar. It will end up tearing the mounts instead of wearing the bushings. I installed new rubber bushings in the Cobra when I installed all the suspension parts a couple years ago and they are already showing signs of wear.

I have all the suspension adjustment tools needed to set the car up. We just need to have the hard parts to allow for adjustment.
