after about 4 runs in 90% humidity I was able to get the car to launch with a 1.48 60ft and a 10.98 at 125mph. wasn't really trying to run great times due to the weather, but I was happy with the 60ft.. car also wasn't shifting right on the 1-2 again, it was down by 400rpm.

went to Cecil and ran some PB times.. the air was great and the track was "some what" hooking. as you can see, the MPH in my quickest run was low. this was due to a MPH timing light problem. I would think that 10.85 pass would have been a 126mph run.. anyway, next season we will have Stage 3 cams and another 70 to 80lbs out of the car. also on the drive home after filling up with 93 and my 93 street tune I got 29mpg . Thanks again to RevAuto in Baltimore and UPR produces.

Are you worried about crossing over into a car that's not very street able at some point? Or is the point to build a race car that just happens to be street legal.

Now far from it. This car is a amazing. After that 10.85 run I put 93 gas in the car and my street tune and got 29mpg driving home. Even with those big cams I should be able to pull 25 to 27mpg on the highway and pull 10.4s on race gas. My friend just went 8.98 at 155mph with his wife's daily driver.

That's amazing for mpg, but there's a lot more to a street car regarding NVH, high stall converters aren't that pleasant, etc. It's subjective of course, so some people wouldn't give a damn almost no matter what.

An 8 second DD is incomprehensible! Although the new ZO6 is a 10 second car from the factory on pump gas and street tires, so the whole world is kind of nuts.
