I say just clean up the engine for now. I would love to get some seat time in this thing to get better at driving and the sooner we finish the better.

Ron,
I would love to help out when you take the engine apart and go through it so I can learn some stuff. If you do it on a weekend I can help out. I have also never welded so if there is something I can do that is not a important part then I would love to try it. Let me know.

I'll let you know when I'm ready to pull it apart so you can come out here. While you're here I have some scrap metal that you can do some welds on.

Go for $180 unless she starts crying or something. $200 is fine. Seems like a good price for wheels and tires (does have stock tires right) from an SN197.

Once confirmed I'll send you the money.

They said the tires are worn but I thought we were going to be replacing them with some NT05?

Yes. I mean just for rolling around in the meantime. Not for any real use, maybe some yucking it up at Adams at most. That's all.

Yeah, NT05's are going to be our best choice for a 200 treadwear DOT tire.

FMR, what is the approximate cost of a set of the appropriate size NT05s going to be? There is supposed to be a place (Leedom knows) down in South OC that routinely cheaper than everywhere else.

BTW, Ron, if GTR wants to participate and do a write up with 5.0 for this project, that'd be great!
