Since I'm only 7 miles away and can't sleep the night before I'm usually there around 5am.

How long is your wait time if your there that early?

They open the gates at 6am. You then get in line inside where they line up the first 400 cars. They then start taking those cars in at 7am so you can go get in the tech line. Racing starts at 9am. I like to be in the first run group.

Last time I was there I got 4 runs in and left by a little after noon. There were less than 200 cars.

Meh. If you have a pretty stock looking street car and have you papers in order (registration, insurance) they won't give you any trouble if you little things like aftermarket air filters etc.
