I've got the 360 degree drifts and figure eights down right now. The rest...... well I'll let you know.

Give me a big private lot with no speed bumps and I'll learn how to do it on my own.

That 64 has IRS, rear drive and basically the same suspension that mine does. No reason it can't be made stiff enough to do some drifitng. Just need some big wheels on there with low pros.

Actually, I'm thinking of selling it for the down payment of a new car ---quite possible that will be 2010 Grand Sport. So painting it...........

Tell that guy I've seen his work and he'll be the first one I talk to.

I'm in no position now, but run numbers and see what you'd want sans driveline. I'd want the chassis/body diff and a stinger hood if you got it, but I'd be doing something different with motor and trans.

You want to break up Brutal??? I do have the stinger hood untouched in 37 years since I go it. Oh it is primered--but light grey.

It's really not what I want, it's more what I will need. If I go through with this, It's going to be my last Vette. I want you to have Brutal, but I'm not totally convinced I can afford the Grand Sport. If I feed my cats and then do nothing but the Vette I'll be able to afford it. It comes down to whether I want to live that way or not.

I want you to have the 64 unless Bird comes up with a better offer

There's no hurry of course. You should think long and hard. Even keeping Brutal as it is, and maybe adding something like an EcoBoost Focus, a la Brit style Hot Hatch would be pretty cool and a lot less costly. The next free cash I get goes towards the project car to get it going. Then I have my current Vette (though it's not entirely out of the question to sell my current and do something similar with Brutal etc.), who knows. Just all possibilities.
