Let the HP wars begin- Ok, so this will be old school Glenn against--Rock Star Ben.

Alright I'll check it out. I don't want any excuses from you when I kick your ass. I can say I got my machine work from the same place you did.

Still kinda far away.

But, do you anyone with a truck that I use to get the block there?

I want something closer so I can go bug them everyday. But, it can be a back up.

I know someone, but it may cost you.

HP numbers are good and all, but they are like asking someone how much they can bench. What difference does it make if I can still kick your ass?

I won't be building anything for quite a while I think. I have a truck.

As soon as I get my check and decide which way I'm going engine size, I'm going to start mine. So all I have to do is beat the current LS motor. Hell, that should not...........................................

You know I'm kidding right??????

Well, I might do little things like LTs and a retune, which should put me at about 430WHP (rough, but fair guess). To be comparable you would only need roughly 500BHP.

Check? You mean a $250 stimulus check.

I can do 500 hp with a 400 SBC in my sleep--Yea,in my dreams.

No I was talking T-Bird check.

I going to get the block done with part of that. That's why I have to decide on the cubic inches.

I can do the 400 block for either the 377 or 404 (.020 over) or 406 (.030 over).

If you go to santa ana speed talk to mike tell him Jerry with the turbo Impala sent you...not sure if they still use the machine shop anymore but worth a shot.

Well, you did beat Pony Boy in a race. Did you use Santa Ana Speed for your machine work?
