What cheapo gun will work with (black) primer the best? I've used a craftman, but that was a pain!!!!

Those Craftsman guns look cheaper than the $30 Harbor Freight Purple guns. If it's primer that you're going to sand then, just pick one up from Harbor freight. If you're going to spray sealer or shoot primer that you intend to topcoat, lay it on with something nice.
