Don't cheap out on the interior or amenities and you're on your way to a reasonable $60k~ car.

haha, but that is a phenomenal car... would be a hard decision [if they imported it] between that and a P31 C63

That Ecoboost 5.0 with a nice interior would make it a legitimate CTS-v competitor. I like it.

The CTS-V has about 100hp and 100ft-lbs more than the GT-P, but I am sure with some tweaking more power could be gained. Between Ford and Holden, the Aussie have some really fine high performance cars.

Well,
"Power comes in the form of the FVP GT’s supercharged 5.0-liter Boss V8 churning out 335kW (449-horses) and 570Nm (420.4 lb-ft) of peak torque."
Hold on there a minute, because that's only VERY nominally above an NA Coyote. If they mean 450WHP, that's already in the same range as a stock CTS-V. A TT Coyote could easily be more.

Thats the rated power of the BOSS and that engine is naturally aspirated. The coyote is putting out 580rwhp from standard whipple and vortech kit. I think its safe to assume the same numbers are capable with a tune and pully swap.

Correct. A guy from Australia on another board I'm on says they dyno at about 440rwhp
