If all goes well I'll pick up the engine tomorrow and drop it off at Ron's tomorrow night (later) or Saturday. Can you have these engine bits ready tomorrow, maybe even just leaving them in a box on your porch so I can provide all this to Ron? If not tomorrow, Saturday?

I'll be at the shop every day this week(end) scrambling to prep the car for some color. I'll text you.

Went to pick up the motor and it wasn't ready, still needs to pull the FW/Clutch, and motor mounts. He totally "spaced" because his buddy was in an accident but he seems kinda flaky. His dad was the one who was supposed to get the motor ready for me to pick up tonight.

On the up side, the motor looks good (fine). So I'm handing this off to Ron, as I'm leaving the country and I don't really want to deal with this guy anymore. Have fun Ron!

He works in Rancho Coucamonga and said he can drop off the motor in Fontana. I'll PayPal you the money. It had the intake and heads on it, but not the carb. Make sure he brings everything you expect him to bring for the price.

He sent me a PM and appologized. He is going to bring the engine to me we just have to arrange a day.

On another note, GTR is having a garage sale to clear out their shop and they have a set of stock 2005 GT 17 inch wheels with tire for $250. Guy, isn't that what you said we needed to fit the axle we pulled?

Great. All we need is $250 now.

See OP. I bumped my cash contribution to $200 for now and probably until the new year, which brings us nearly flat. Any purchases in the near term from here (fw, wheels) will require new income from contribution or sale.

Known easy things
Wheels and tires from GTR: $250
FW for 302 from Summit: $80~

I know someone who may be selling some 2011 seats. Want me to check on those for you?
