Ultimately, sure the FRS is pretty expensive for what it is (24200 plus 760 destination is what brings it to that 24960 figure btw), but theres no other car like it out there and thats why i think they priced it so damn high. I will decide after driving it around, but i'm still leaning towards a yes, sure its 25k but overall cost of ownership for 3 years and 40k miles will be a LOT less than any vette i buy for 25k, i practically threw money at my C5 just for stupid shit that would randomly go bad, it was a great fun car, but definite money drain

Your reasoning is sound. I think you'd be pretty happy until you get spanked by some girl in a V6 Mustang. Ah just teas'n, the only reason to have any toy/car is because you want to for whatever your reasons are. The rest is pretty much BS anyway.

Word, go 5.0, or vette. Either I think are better choices, thats still a whole lot of money for a corolla

LOL Corolla?! c'mon dont hate THAT much
i'll keep you guys posted and take some pictures and videos at the event, they're gonna have to win me over if they want my money at this point so we shall see
and FWIW, i drove the '12 mustang GT around, its a fine car, but its way too big for my taste, though that price of 25,400 for the base model was mighty tempting

Don't know if you saw this on our site, but if your max budget is mid-high 20s, this may be worth considering. I've seen this car in person a couple times and it is Sean Plunkett level awesome. I mean fucking immaculate. And vicious!

Yes, that thing is very sexy. Something about muscle calls to me though.

Oh I'd rock that G37 in a second. It's also more appropriate to my station . . if I had money anyway. But the C3 appeals to my inner redneck, big time. I actually avoid reading that thread and Nordy's RC51 for fear of doing something stupid.
