What about an older CTS-V or Bimmer of some sort?

As for me, when I have play money again, not sure I'll continue with the Vette or go for a Turbo Porsche. I'd like something with a little more daily utility, especially for driving in cities. But I'm not a big fan of the Porsche "sound" . . . the Vette of course sounds great and is just hoot to do drive.

You can find 06-07 cars in the 37+ range, but they're usually higher mileage (at least 50k). I've never seen any really clean C6Z go for 35k.

This was just a single example after a minute of searching. That is still a clean car, still a z06

Original quote for reference.

So far we've found one that is still over 35k and most definitely not in awesome condition.

It's a fine car. It's also certainly not in "awesome condition" and is still more than 35k. I watch the used market pretty closely. I've seen some Z06's on craigslist and vetteforum that are close to what he described, but still over 35k.

Seems it was pretty clear, 36 isnt too much over 35, and if it was CL i'd offer him 30. It is an awesome condition car, we're arguing about the wording, awesome, great, wonderful. I think you're the only person who isnt on the same page.

I disagree. It's not CL, it's ebay motors and the lowest priced Z06 is 36k. I also checked CL and nothing local is close to as inexpensive as you say. To get an AWESOME condition, lower mileage C6Z is going to cost you in the high 30's at least, if not the low 40's period.

As for an LS3 Corvette, I've yet to see anything in the low 20's, especially in really good shape. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think you're going to be able to do it.
