Boo, ive pulled the whole axle assembly myself. I'll try and make it but holidays fuck up my schedule.
I could. I don't want to. This is about having some fun. I'm not doing much on this that isn't fun. Cracking knuckles in a junk yard by myself on a four day weekend scores badly on the fun scale. One extra pair of hands and someone to BS with though, pooof, fun. . . theoretically at least. Sometimes I like working by myself . . a lot actually . . .but not for this.

Now you know how i felt about your damn harness. I tried not to be the dude who breaks shit to pull parts, but after 2 hours of carefully removing shit, i said fuck it and starting ripping shit out, felt really good.

speaking of harnesses. I havent forgotten about yours. Foxes here are worth their weight in gold these days. I havent found a decent one that wont break both our banks yet. Even went to a swap meet last weekend and couldnt find one.

I do need to pull another dash harness so maybe we'll make it one big junkyard party. I've been REALLY putting it off since I hate pulling wiring but i'm sure there will be some comedy between the group trying to do so.

Amy and I met Ben at his house and we went to the Anaheim Pick Your Part where we found a '97 8.8 axle which we pulled. We also found a factory electronic distributor in a Ford van that we pulled.
Here are some pictures from the day. I'll leave out the 15 pictures my wife took of my butt while I was working. That's what I get for having her take the pictures.
I'll go ahead and take care of all this Ben you go ahead and take some pictures, work the jack and hand me tools.
He eventually got tired of handing me tools and had to sit for a little bit.
After a brief rest he was ready to try it on his own. Well after I broke the bolt loose for him.
