I check their website immediately after you mentioned it the first
time and they use synchs with a gear that have less angle to support more power. The PPG box has no synchros (1-4), but dogs to support faster shifts. PPG is the only company that I have found that advertises no clutch upshift capability with daily driver reliability in a t-56. The synchs on GFORCE are not welded, but the pics on CF of the Dogged GFORCE kits is welded. $4600 isn't that much money if it lasts a few seasons. There are other companies that advertise face plating the gears, but they are maintenance intensive.
