We are back home and our house is safe. We had 3 cars full of pictures and some clothes. We spent the night at my girlfriend's house in Mission Viejo. We finally got back into our house around 4 on sunday. The pics below are a few I took before we left. I will take some more this weekend showing the aftermath. View from half way up the hill behind the house. Those are flames about 6 miles away and closing fast. They cam within about a mile or 2 of the house. We watched 2 houses burn in the area across the major street leading to our housing track.

Hell, I didn't know you lived so close to the fires. Glad everything is OK.

I would think so. Silverado canyon was only closed for a couple weeks when it got wiped out recently as I recall.
