Default How do you make seats?

Thinking about making a rear one for the boat, instead of rewraping the old one. I'm guessing, cut the wooden shape, cut foam to match and glue, then wrap with vinyl and staple it around the edges?

They're just like cushions, or otherwise attached to a complete sub structure right? In other words, it ain't furniture. I have a fair bit of wood working tools, if you bring whatever you want to cut on Tuesday or Thursday, we can make quick work of whatever you need. I've also got a Kreg kit for doing pocket screws, heavy duty stapler, etc.

Thanks Ben, I will take you up on that later this summer. But the seat along with the boat is still in SD right now.
