Default New ideas for boat paint.

If you're sick of my indecisiveness, I know how you feel. I'm trying to keep this cheap, like sub $200 and I realized I have about a quart left of clear. Which is about 1/2 a gallon sprayable which should be enough for the top. Since I already have the clear, I can make it pearl, candy or chameleon for about $10-$20.

New ideas:

Yellow base with a red ghost pearl.
Yellow metallic pearl in intercoat with a red ghost pearl.

Example of a red ghost pearl over purple.

Metallic yellow pearl. I was excited to finally find a yellow pearl but I think it looks a bit pale, what do you guys think?

(Or a true candy over just the top (not the sides) and the spears/ design around the inner edge)
Candy apple red

Candy blood red

Candy blue

Candy lime green

I'm sort of all about candy tonight, who knows how I'll feel tomorrow. Last night I was all about yellow with the red pearl. I'm really feeling the candy because it's the most difficult thing to spray, it look siiick, it would be cheap since I have clear already, and I want to challenge myself to do it.

I could also do a yellow to lime green chameleon paint. Or the blue to purple chameleon but I probably wouldn't.

Example of the blue to purple.

The design on the top underneath the candy will be the charcoal too.

Candy red over black stripes, I'm guessing. Mine would be similar to this on just the top.

And the decision is: candy blood red. No more thinking about it.

I let my gf decide. I was thinking about it too much and not studying.

Going to do the bottom in charcoal, the outer top edge in charcoal. Spray the top with a metallic silver and then the inner edge/ top design with the charcoal. Then I will coat the top silver and the inner charcoal edge/ design in candy blood red. If I have enough clear left over I will clear the candy.

It's not that I'm all about the candy, but I want the challenge. Because candy it the hardest paint to shoot. If I can do that, I can do anything. Plus, when it comes time to spray the blue motorgen logo in candy it will be a cakewalk by comparison.
