I know I drive a Cheby, but I still love a good Ford too !! Just got this and thought some of you might want to know about it.
John Force RaceStation - CAR SHOW ALERT
ALL FORD CAR SHOW – Sunday August 9th – 10am-4pm
Dear Car Show Enthusiast,
We are hosting an ALL FORD CAR SHOW at the John Force RaceStation facility in Yorba Linda, CA on Sunday - August 9th; and you’re invited!!! If you own a Ford or Lincoln Mercury bodied classic car, street rod, truck or sports car we’d love to see you at this summer car show presented by the Auto Club of Southern California & Ken Grody Ford.
The Mustang Club of Orange County is producing this car show and it will be benefit the Orange County Food Bank. In these tough economic times the local food banks are being overwhelmed by those out of jobs and without food to feed their families. Many of the food banks are just too overwhelmed to meet the needs of Orange County and surrounding areas.
We know that hot rodders and car show fans have big hearts, and we’re encouraging everyone to bring at least one can with them when they come to this car show on August 9th. Just grab a can of soup, corn, beans, chili, pineapples, peaches, tuna, etc and bring it to the show to turn in. And to make this even more fun, John Force RaceStation will be giving away an award to a special person for the “Most Food Given”. But there’s more; for each can you donate, you’ll be given a raffle ticket to win a Sanyo 52” big screen TV. Bring one can get one ticket, bring 5 cans get 5 tickets, and so on to win the TV which will be given away at the car show that day. This TV giveaway is separate from the TV we are giving away at our John Force Cruise Night Car Shows. Let’s Help Those That Are Without Food!!!
We will be blocking off the streets around our facility to accommodate this car show, but space is limited; so pre-register early as it is filling up fast!!! Attached please find a flyer for your convenience to fill out and mail in. If you don’t own a FORD vehicle or truck, but know someone that does; please pass the flyer onto them. We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing you at the ALL FORD CAR SHOW @ the John Force RaceStation on Sunday – August 9th – 10am-4pm.
