I still dislike how lazy GM is when it came to designing this one. Ever since the C5, they didn't change shit visually really. It looks good, but I still see a C6 that's been lightly changed.

I've seen them on the road and they are noticeably different from a distance. Still not a fan of the rear end, but otherwise it's a pretty strong design showing I think. It's also "iconic" for a demographic so they don't want or need to mess with it too radically. The biggest change in Corvette history from a design POV was C3 -> C4, and the C4 is the most universally disliked Corvette. Everyone tends to think "coke bottle" shape with a Vette, so they have to work within that frame work. Remember we're talking about buyers who went quasi- ape shit over the disappearance of pop up headlights C5 -> C6.

Now the 911, there's a lazy (stable) design!

It looks like it comes with the 6.2L supercharged LT4 making 625hp and 635tq.

That would definitely be the other generation break. The difference is that by the time of the C4, the "coke bottle" had been around for nearly 20 years and was pretty iconic. The C1 had a shorter span and was not sooo popular. In fact in the very beginning the whole Corvette program was nearly cut. But yeah, just going on styling alone, it's arguable at least.
