Volkswagen has introduced three special edition
Beetle Convertible models to celebrate the droptop's launch. The vehicles are designed to evoke three distinct decades in American cultural history: the 1950s, the 1960s and the 1970s, says the automaker.

'70s Edition (back in the above image) is distinguished by its Toffee Brown paint and chromed wheels, to remind owners of the sophisticated side of the decade.
The new Beetle Convertible goes on sale next month.
