I'm considering getting away from run flats and getting good regular tires and a flat repair kit haha

18s on back 17s on front and i dunno if it matters but its got the tire pressure sensors too so iono if that limits the tire choices. Sean suggested the nitto 555s like he's got on the cobra, and preferences are longevity>price>grip>quietness>comfort in that order from greatest concern to least hahaha. sizes per tire rack are:
Rear: 275/40ZR18
Front: 245/45ZR17
and i'm cool with run-flats or non-runflats.
Do you guys do alignment too? I need to get that done when I get the new tires put on as well :P

arite i need to learn to read the whole thread, so yeah i'm gonna need the rubber, mounting/balencing, TPS setup if necessary and full on alignment, let the suggestions begin!

yeah we do the alignments here too.. ok for matching tread the only thing i scan get is either a michelin ps2 for 373.00 a tire for the rear and 253.00 for the front

or the run flats for 305.00 rear and 239.00 front

and i'm surprised, the mich PS2 run flats are cheaper than the regulars??

matching tread means that the rear tire brand is the same as the front.... for having 2 dif sized rims its gonna narrow your choices alot.... thats what we had in stock.... we DID have some general tires which is a ok tire and a fuck load cheaper

I'm not in a rush, i wont be back in the oc area for a couple weeks anyway so would it be possible to order the nitto 555s by any chance? Discount tire has those for 850 otd/installed with tpms servicing, so i guess my real question is can you beat that? haha

and how much cheaper are generals? Exclaim UHP has pretty good ratings and discount tire gives me 748 OTD, i guess that saved 100 will go towards alignment, how do you think generals compare to nittos?
I'm only going to have them for roughly MAX of 2.5 years, no more than 20k miles max, if that makes any difference as to which i'd be better off with

finally, fix-a-flat says its TMPS safe...so since i'm goign with non run flats that'll work right? Or is there another option (i have AAA, but just for quick fixes and peace of mind)
