Default Camaro Pricing Revealed

The 300hp V6 will start at $22,995
The 422hp V8 SS will start at $30,995

All things considered, I'd say it's pretty good. The V6 is actually a LOT of car for the money. I mean a 300hp V6, 6-speed transmission, independent rear - not too shabby.

Way beyond not too shabby. That's incredible value. I'm gonna sound like a European for a second, but I wonder what the production interior is gonna be like. If it's decent, that is extraordinary. Go GM. You're getting your balls kicked in but hang in there.

You drive a Vette - you're not allowed to talk about interior quality Of course, the interior on the Cobra looks like it was made by Fisher Price or Lego, so I can't really say anything either

Sure you can. Something like "I'd like a little better interior" seems appropriate. I'm all for superior value. I love the American kick you in the teeth bang for buck, but we can (and have been) improve the value further with fit and finish, materials etc.

Invoice prices (not including destination charges)

LS - $21,021.53
1LT - $22,566.60
2LT - $25,118.10
1SS - $28,581.53
2SS - $31,591.37

RS invoice on the 2SS is $996
Red Jewel Tintcoat invoice - $244.85
B7W stripes is $327
6-speed Automatic Transmission - $825.85

If you could manage to get an SS for under 30k that would be one hell of a deal.

I'm lazy. What distinguishes each trim level. I think LS1Z28 should get one. Top of the line of course.

They will do the same crap at the dealers they always do. When the new Stang came out it was 25k sticker for v8. The dealer added 5k for "market value adjustment" to the cost. So I went to Scion and got a Tc. My kids got to keep thier legs, since we would have to cut them off to fit in back seat of the Ford.

I saw a $70K dealer markup on the Cobra when it first came out. They don't try to hide it either.
