Sadly I don't think I can make it. Are they running an ALMS event still as well? Seeing Corvette run against Porsche, Ferrari, etc. in GT3 would be kinda cool.

Default Yes

I got on the Mothers/Paddock package for Sunday. The package included escorted roll in with 150 exotics, parking in the Paddock bull pen, 2 reserved tickets in Grand Stand #16, 2 lunch tickets for CPK and a Mothers goody bag. I will be meeting up with a group from L4P and the Paddock group in north east Long Beach at 0730, then off to the event.

Default Long Beach Grand Prix

What a grand day at the races, the sounds of the F-1 is captive, stellar and all at once, I had a fantastic day at the LBGP, it was a three ring circus. A 360 experience that sounded like a swarm of bees. The Mothers event was very nice, great parking (facing turn #9) with your car facing the race track, in your constant view from the grand stands. I had some fun on the ride down to the event in a 40 plus exotic caravan group, I did have some fun with a few Lambos and Ferraris on the ride down to the event. I will explore the chance to rent a hotel room to view the 2012, event from a perch next year.
