I've thought about this myself. But there is a not so expensive way to approximate this if you don't mind a rougher finish. It's called a GT-M.

If I were to do an LSx/NSX I would keep it looking pretty normal for an NSX.

American engine in a Japanese platform has numerous winning combos, but I'd still like to do something with a Japanese engine in an American car. Honest, a 2JZ in like a 60s Mustang (yes FnF like) would be one candidate. A 20b rotary in a 2nd Gen Camaro was another idea.

I've seen a handful of 2JZ's in foxes. All of them were 9 second cars or better.

Evolution Motorsport dropped a 2 JZ in a 69 Camaro. It was a pretty sweet build. I personally hated the fuck out of it though.

Theres no reason to do a 2JZ in a car thats already setup for a V8. Thats just for show. And ya I guess the Z20B would be the same thing, its really just for the the eye popping factor.

Whats up with the Snake Ben? Ever get that blower part machined?

Blower is about 80% done. I'm attempting to move again, and this place is going to be smaller so the Snake is going to have to go somewhere, probably blackax's along with the Lemon's car. NOTE: The lemons car has all the parts necessary (or very close) to actually get running. Just have to figure out a weekend to do it.

I had a combo idea more or less exactly like this (GT-M + NRE).

I know what you mean, but except for from a roll on a freeway or something, that chassis with 6-700 hundred HP and sticky rubber is probably going to be a lot faster in reality. For one thing, I don't think there's a transaxle for the GT-M that can handle 1200.
