I'm not a fan of comparing modified cars to stock cars. Cobra plus pulley plus tune will spank a Viper... but it's still not a Viper. Sometimes you pay for the sex appeal. No one has ever purchased a Ferrari because it was the most economical choice for the performance. And Mustangs may be performers, but they'll never be an M3.
