I also measured the trans on the Cobra because of how far forward the shifter mount on the top loader is compared to the hole in the floor of the Rx-Snake. It turns out the T56 in the Cobra and the top loader are the same distance. So we are just going to have to modify the floor in the car if it is too far off.
