A waiter in a deli asks the old man how everything is...
"Taste the soup." He says.
"Why?" she asks. "Too salty?"
"Taste the soup." He said to her again.
"Is it too hot?" she asked him, a bit agitated.
"Taste the soup." he said again, dryly.
"Is it too cold?" she says again.
The old man points to his bowl with both hands. "Taste the soup."
Exasperated the waitress says "Fine, gimme the spoon, I'll taste the soup!"
"Ahah!" says the old man with a grin.
