So, I just got home from buying my new toy.

The seller was a real nice guy, let John test it out and took me for a spin on Sunday. Today I was prepared to go all the way up to the $5700 asking price when I offered $5000. He said his wife was going to be pissed, but countered with $5300 and that was an offer I couldn't refuse. This miata is drop dead gorgeous for $5300!

Only things that need to be fixed is the horn needs to be hooked up on the MOMO wheel and my lack of skill driving a stick

I've almost got regular starts down to a science and only stall about 1 in 10 times but haven't even thought about hill starts yet. Not bad for only my 3rd time driving stick if I do say so myself. The seller was actually such a nice guy that he guided me through my constant stalls when I was first getting used to the clutch. I can't wait to get good enough to take this thing out to the track!
