My friends 1st gen Mustang stock was the slowest, worst handling, worst braking, least comfortable, least safe car I'd ever been in. But... it's a 1st gen Mustang! And therefore one of my favorites. Just like my car, it only takes a little bit of loving to make it a serious performer.
And my friend is doing just that. I can't wait to show case it here. It's going to be a FI Turbo H&C 250 I6 with a 5 speed and a Currie 9." Strange I know, but it's going to make power. I'm excited about it.

Unfortunately you are correct on the 1st gen Mustangs. Shelby moved the upper control arm 1.5 inches to help the handling. They were cheaply made vehicles. They were just pretty Falcons. But, they were pretty,
