Thanks Vette, I appreciate the space you guys have provided for my ramblings. I've started exploring other areas of the forum for anything you gearheads have to offer a guy who's dealing with an aircooled engine that has seen damn few technological advancements since they went from side valves to overhead back in the '30s. Was reading a thread about quench yesterday that made me realize I was assbackwards in my understanding of it. Still going through another on backpressure -that's a hot topic among harley riders.
