I second that, try going into first gear, then reverse. Then slowly let up the clutch, shouldn't even need to rev it up. My first trans did that and so does this one.
Try this out before you swap it. New one could be the same way.

So is this just a temporary fix, or is this a sign that the tranny is on the way out? Or is this something that transmissions will do sometimes because i've never run into it before. Also will i need to do that all the time or just every once in a while?
