I agree but the timing marks on the front valve cover were right on with the cam gears but the rears were both off from the marks on the valve cover.

I soaked up the water that was in the cylinders...

I soaked up the water that was in the cylinders already. Plus the cylinder walls and rings are covered in oil. They aren't going to rust in the next couple weeks.

We haven't even tried to look for the bolt or clip so they really aren't lost. I'll take a look now that we have everything out of the way and see if I can find them.

No. I guess John had them in his truck ready to bring over but when he went to leave his truck wouldn't start. He ended up driving the Cadi but forgot to grab them out of the truck.
