It's sad...

When I have to call Holley tech pretending that I have a Holley carb to get tech help/ part numbers because the idiots at Barry Grant are too stubborn and/ or stupid to answer a simple question.

The tech at BG will never answer a simple f*cking question. They need to know EVERYTHING about your motor because they must know what your problem is better than you. They will not give a simple answer, ever. Try it, call them, it's almost entertaining. They are worse than car salesman.

So did you get the answer you were looking fir from Holley? How's the AFR now?

Haven't been able to tune since last Thurs. waiting on a custom dist. bushing.

Yes, Holley tech was very helpful. They actually answer my questions and give me valuable advice.

Going to be a couple more days. Lars suggested 24* total. You want a 6* stop in addition to 10*?

Sure, whatever you think would be best. Not going to argue with you about timing.

As Mike explained, you want the "peak" cylinder pressure at 15* ATDC.

big2bird 08-08-2009 03:56 PM

So, you want a 6*, 8*, or 10* installed?

enkeivette 08-08-2009 11:27 PM

Let's start out with the 6. At least till I can get a knock detection system working.

Well, the 6* is installed, and he has 2 each of 6*, 8*, and 10*. The rest is up to him.
