With the release of the BRZ there have been a lot of claims on how great track cars they are. I have even seen claims of BRZ going faster than 5.0 Mustangs and c5 Corvettes. I just think it's funny that the "second coming of sport cars" is slower than a v6 Mustang or a VW GTI.

Those clas are all over look due a google search. I got pissed reading them. Thereight of even been a thread here. Frankly from destroying one in my 5.0, I can tell you that the BRZ has very low threshold for handling and it was done intentionally by putting some straight up shit tires on the car. The gain is a very gradual and controllable break away. It really isn't any faster than a miata even with a 20% power advantage.

How much do you get with just good rubber I wonder?

I love my wife's MX-5. Awesome handling car and ball to drive even though it is not so powerful.
