Home Made Water Injection

I've heard of alcohol and water/alcohol injection, but not straight up water injection. Curious.

You get greater cooling effect with alcohol or alcohol/water. The technical term for the evaporative qualities for the reason escapes me at the moment. One of the beneficial side effects is that your combustion chambers will be clean of all carbon deposits.

Meth injection is also highly corrosive to gasoline engines

I was thinking of doing Meth injection to bring down my intake temp's. But i might switch it up to water when i put on the larger blower.

I ran water injection from '79 up to 2001. It is a little tricky but if done correctly, it is very effective in stopping ping and (as Bob Said) cleaning carbon off chambers and pistons.

I used it over the carb ( and carbs). Setting it up for FI is going to be interesting. I have some thoughts on it.

Personally i would stick with meth so you get the added fuel benefit as well
