More power!!!!

Ok so I'm going to have my motor rebuilt, and i think this is the best time to add some more power. But i dont have a ton of money to add it. So what do you guys think is the best best, im trying to keep it under 6500$

Right now
Stock Ls2
Magnacharger supercharger (mp112)
should be good for 450 rwhp

Option 1
Forge Ls2
Cam
Magnacharger supercharger (mp112)
should be good for 475 rwhp
5000$ ish

Options 2
Forge ls2
stroker 402
Cam
naturally aspirated
Should be good for 450 rwhp
5000$ ish

Option 3
Forge ls2
stroker 402
Cam
Custom fit a MP122 or a TVS 1900
should be good for 530 rwhp
not sure on the cost

What do you guys Think

Is the blower currently on the car an 112? If so, I'd probably go option 3 but keep the compression down. That way you could keep the M112 for now and have about 475ish rwhp, but down the line throw something like a TVS2300 on and make closer to 600whp.

Forge cranks can be really expensive for a decent one. They are not necessary unless your going really big 800+. I would get forged rods and pistons and re-use the stock crank. Use ARP bolts for the rods and if you have extra money the head bolts too. Later when you have more money upgrade the supercharger. The eaton blowers will not overpower the stock crank so you will have room to grow. I think you may be a little conservative on your hp estimates.

My I have a few friends from digital corvettes in AZ with eaton/TVS

LS1 W/1900 ~485 rwhp
LS2 W/1900 ~550 rwhp

I'm not sure yet if i have any damage on my crank, so i'm planing for the worst case ( i could fix the problem for less then 1000$) but thats still stock crap :barf:

I got a quote for 6200$ for:

*Callies forged crank
*Forged rod's
*Diamond pistons
*Comp lifters
*Custom cam
*Head Studs
*Seals and other odd's and ends

(thanks sean for the CMS Info)

This setup will be rock solid for the power that I would be makeing. But I would like to make a bit more , between 500 and 550 at the wheels

If I go the 402 route i'll be blower limtied but i would still make a ton of power, and i'll make even more when i upgrade to a bigger blower. But all that is costly.

I could always forge it then add a 50 shot and call it a day :drool2:

@BADDASSC6 its always better to under estimate then over estimate so you always feel better about the power you make

What blower is currently on the car?

I have an eaton M112 on the Cobra too. If I were on a budget I'd build a low compression 402, but send the m112 here for porting. The Cobra guys are making some great power with Posi ported blowers. The top dog Race port makes 50-70rwhp more than my car with the same mods.

Wow, his prices are not too bad. I'm thinking I will go with a stock CI motor with a stock compression, but forge the rod's and pistons, and port the supercharger, add a cam and redo the valve train so i get a little more out of her and she will be able to take it.
