I'm at jury duty...again

It's been a long morning - anybody I get a trial for today is guilty :judge:

I got out of it again, otherwise, I would be keeping you company.:nutkick:

I once gave a speech during jury selection on the modern American police state. Haven't been asked back since, more than 10 years.

LOL, why am I not surprised? I actually got done around 2. I got in the jury box for a murder trial, but was booted by the defense. I'm guessing it was because I kept staring him down and also because I kept shaking my head whenever he spoke. The dude was full of it and I think his client was clearly guilty of murder (more than likely 1st degree judging by the info I heard). The defense attorney definitely earned some of his money kicking me out actually :judge:

Just hope you don't get a case that winds up having the jury sequestered:rolleyes2:

Here is the case I almost got on. The guy was the actual shooter. What an idiot.

Every time I get the letter in the mail I just throw it away. The way is see it is it isn't sent certified, so I didn't sigh for it therefor I didn't get it.:judge:

Financial hardship. My bills equal my income, I am the sole income producer, and would not meet my financial commitments.:sm_up_there:

I told a judge once that I thought lawyers were just a bunch of lying con men. The judge asked me if I felt that way about all lawyers and I replied every single one of them. He left me on the jury because I didn't show any bias towards a particular type of lawyer.
