SCPOC-Twist-O-Rama
 

Hey guys,

I wanted to run this guy by you. SCPOC (probe club) have their annual Twist-O-Rama San Diego mountain cruise coming up in Aug. It's quite intense...just hours of scenic driving but through lots of twisties, pinholes, going up, down and around mouuntains. We go up to Palomar Mountain, pass through Julian (gold town) and end up at Temecula for dinner. It's an all day thing.

SHOCal, the club I'm involved with have at least a few people going every year. Mazda RX8 and Probe guys from Arizona sometimes meet up with us.

Sounds pretty cool. Put up the exact dates/times when you know. I think some of us will roll. BADASSC6 will be back in SD in by then.

No, we don't stop in Julian. I guess we could. The only time when we stop is too cool down the brake, wait for slowpokes to catch up to the rest of the group, scenic view and get gas/lunch at the gas station.

I drove over the route last summer. Well named Twist O Rama. I plan to be there.

top posted up my event. we do this run annually and always in august, as it's our end of summer thing. :)

it would be great to have some of you guys out there for the run. always nice to meet and hang out with car guys.
