Good trans shop?

Anybody out there that can make a suggestion on where i ought to take the Z to get some new synchros put in the T56? Havent actually taken a car to a shop for trans work in quite a while, but I figure ive got the warranty, I may as well use it

Would prefer somebody with at least a little experience on C5s, as the trans location and lift placement protocols are unusual, at best.

I used American Transmission Exchange in Fontana a few years back and they did a great job. They rebuilt the old T5 that was in the Cobra. After they rebuilt the trans it shifted so smooth. I even had Steve at Powertrain Dynamics ask who built the trans because he said it was the smoothest shifting T5 he'd ever felt. They're a little pricey but well worth it.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I think im going to be dropping it off at Corvette Mike's. They send the trans out to A1 transmission, who i've heard some good things about, but that way I know someone with C5 experience is taking the thing out, so its at least one thing im not worried about :sm_laughing:

Let us know how they do after you get it back.
